Full-time program of one year: Students are usually eligible for a PGWP of up to 1 year
Full-time program of two or more years: Students are usually eligible for PGWP of up to 3 years
Open Work Permit, while you study, could further increase your points. Generally, studies in Canada may improve your score by 50-100 additional points depending on various factors.

Processing times vary. It depends on the type of application you submit (online/paper) and where it is submitted from (inside/outside Canada). Current processing times for study permit applications submitted outside Canada as of today (June 06, 2022) is 12 weeks.
The study permit application for Canada costs CAD $150.
You must first obtain an LOA (Letter of Acceptance) from a Designated Learning Institute (DLI) in Canada. Once you have the acceptance letter, you can fill out the study permit application and submit it.
If you are studying for more than six months in Canada, you will need a medical exam.
You need to give your fingerprints (biometrics) in person taken at a biometric collection service point. You only need to give your biometrics once every 10 years to Canada.
