New Brunswick PNP

Applicants with the skills and experience targeted by the province can obtain a New Brunswick provincial nomination certificate through the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP). Upon receiving this nomination, foreign nationals may apply for permanent residency in Canada. NBPNP accepts applications in the following categories:

Express Entry Stream
In this stream, NBPNP uses Express Entry to meet New Brunswick’s specific demographic and labour market needs. The stream operates on an ‘Expression of Interest’ basis. Applicants should have an active Express Entry profile and currently live in New Brunswick province. 

Skilled Workers Stream
Individuals who received a full-time job offer letter from a New Brunswick employer can apply for Permanent Residency under this stream. Those individuals should prove their intention to reside in New Brunswick to apply under this stream.

Business Immigration Stream
Individuals who own and actively manage a business in this province can apply for permanent residency under this stream. A minimum net worth of CAD 600,000 must be demonstrated, and at least CAD 300,000 must be readily available and free of debt.

Strategic Initiative Stream
Francophone workers who wish to live and work permanently in New Brunswick, and possess the necessary skills, education, and work experience, will be eligible for this stream.

Atlantic Immigration Program
Four Atlantic provinces are participating in this Atlantic Immigration Program initiative with the Government of Canada to recruit foreign workers to fill labour market shortages in the country and New Brunswick is one of them. To apply for permanent residency under this program, foreign nationals must be either residing abroad or have temporary status in Canada at the time of applying. They should have a job offer from a designated employer that meets the requirements of this immigration to apply under this program.
